This Privacy Policy explains how AtlasCrafter (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our service at atlascrafter.com. By using the site, you agree to this policy. Questions? Email support@atlascrafter.com.
1. Information we collect
We only collect information necessary to provide our service.
Information you give us
- Name (for shipping labels on physical orders)
- Email address (for order receipts and support)
- Shipping address (for physical print orders only — not collected for digital downloads)
- Payment card details (processed directly by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number)
Information collected automatically
- Basic analytics data from Vercel Analytics (pages visited, approximate location at country level, device type) — no cross-site tracking, no personal identifiers
- Essential cookies to keep your cart and design session working
We do not collect: date of birth, government ID, biometric data, social media logins, browsing history from other sites, or any information beyond what’s listed here.
2. How we use your information
We use your information only for the following:
- To process and deliver your order (Stripe for payment, Printful for physical fulfillment)
- To send order confirmation and shipping updates
- To respond to your support emails
- To understand site usage in aggregate (via Vercel Analytics)
- To comply with legal obligations (tax records, fraud prevention)
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not build profiles of you for marketing purposes.
3. Who we share your information with
We share information only with the service providers we need to run the business:
Stripe
Payment processing — receives your payment card information and billing details to process transactions. stripe.com/privacy
Printful
Physical order fulfillment — receives your name and shipping address to produce and ship physical print orders. Not involved in digital download orders. printful.com/policies/privacy
Vercel
Hosting and analytics — receives basic site-visit data (no personal identifiers). vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
MapTiler / ESRI
Map tile providers — receive your map view requests to render map tiles. No personal information is sent.
Anthropic
AI service for natural language search — when you use our search feature, your text query is sent to Anthropic’s API to interpret what you’re looking for. anthropic.com/privacy
We do not share your personal information with any other third parties, except when legally required (e.g., in response to a valid subpoena).
4. How long we keep your information
- Order records: kept for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes
- Support emails: kept for 2 years
- Analytics data: aggregated and retained per Vercel’s standard retention
- Digital download links: persist indefinitely unless the order is refunded
You can request deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing support@atlascrafter.com (see Section 7).
5. How we protect your information
- All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS
- Payment information is never stored on our servers — Stripe handles it directly
- We use trusted third-party providers (Stripe, Vercel, Printful) with their own security standards
- Access to our systems is limited to authorized personnel
No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to our size and the sensitivity of the data.

7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws like the GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), or similar state privacy laws. These typically include:
- Access — request a copy of personal information we have about you
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate information
- Deletion — request we delete your personal information
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format
- Opt-out of sale — we don’t sell your data, but you have this right under CCPA regardless
- Non-discrimination — we won’t treat you differently for exercising any of these rights
To exercise any of these rights, email support@atlascrafter.com with a description of your request. We will respond within 30 days.
If you’re in the EU/UK and believe we’re mishandling your information, you have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. International users
AtlasCrafter is based in the United States. If you use the service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the service, you consent to this transfer.
9. Children
AtlasCrafter is not directed at children under 18. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, please email support@atlascrafter.com and we’ll promptly delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
